Certifications that guarantee the quality of our work

STANDARD NF P90-308

Since 2013, we have been complying with the French safety standard for private swimming pools Afnor NF P90-308, which is not yet regulated in Spain. This standard states that pool covers must be designed, built or installed in such a way as to prevent the unintentional immersion of children under five years of age. They must also be resistant to the passage of an adult person and must not cause injury.

It also indicates that, in general, the roofing materials, anchoring systems and fastening systems must comply with the French and European standards in force.

ISO 9001:2008 STANDARD

In Capcovers we work under ISO 9001:2008 since 2002, with all the necessary controls of product, storage, production and installation of covers for an optimal final result. For 10 years we have been certified under AENOR, the strictest and best known certifier in Spain. In 2012 we decided to change to the prestigious German certifier TÜV Rheinland, with greater transcendence in Europe.

All suppliers and materials used by Capcovers in the manufacture of pool enclosures are of the latest generation. We always use first extrusion aluminum under quality certificate, polycarbonate with UV protection on both sides and all the screws are made of stainless steel in AISI 304 and AISI 316 qualities.

ASTM F1346-91

Since we do not only work in Europe, we are ASTM f1346-91 certified, to ensure that we meet the safety standards for private pools in the United States as well. Over the years, ASTM International has become one of the largest classification and standards organizations in the world. It developed F1346-91 to help prevent drowning of children under the age of five by establishing requirements for pool covers.

Associations of which we are members

INTERNATIONAL

Capcovers belongs to the Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Piscine (FPP), the only professional association in the swimming pool industry representing manufacturers and distributors of swimming pool equipment, manufacturers and installers of swimming pools, spas and covers. The FPP is made up of the leading companies in the European market, the second largest in the world.

NATIONAL

At the national level, Capcovers is a member of two entities: FAPS (Federation of Associations of Equipment Manufacturers and Constructors of Swimming Pools, Saunas and Spas) and ATEP (Spanish Association of Industrialists and Technicians of Swimming Pools and Sports Facilities).

The objective is to significantly influence all legislation, decrees, regulations and agreements that affect the sector, as well as to give recognition to the pool enclosure within the sector.
